In Week 3 we learned more about Pollinators and their Attractors and also made plans to plant our boat. In addition to nature, we had a few art projects to finish up so some days we called in “Narture.” Frannie, Lily, Elena and Valerie are designing pickets and painting small bee condos for the campers to take home.

On Friday, we had some help from a group of visiting young sailors from England. With all this manpower we were able to bring the garden to a completed state – the arch was constructed and placed, the boat mast and sail were rigged and all of the pickets were installed. We also added some rope fence to the road end of the garden. It was a very warm but fun and productive morning!
